Carolyn Capalbo - Northern Virginia Realtor

She is a Northern Virginia real estate agent who shares the same name as the mother of Ashley Alexandra Dupre. Ashley is the escort who was involved with former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer. As you can imagine having the same name with someone like this can be a problem when you are in business as a Realtor and are concerned about your reputation.
Why Does Carolyn Capalbo care?
We are in the internet age. If you are thinking about doing business with someone you might run to your computer and "Google" that person. It is a good way to gather any available information.
I am certain that Carolyn Capalbo the Realtor cares about her name and reputation. Home buyers and sellers are on the internet all of the time. In fact, 9 out of 10 home buyers start their search on the web. It is an essential part of our business. A Realtor's online reputation is very important.
If I was thinking of hiring Carolyn Capablo the Realtor in Virginia to sell my home I would certainly search the internet for any information on her. She is potentially going to handle one of my largest transactions that involves thousands of dollars. Her role is very important. When I search her name in Google I might come across the other Carolyn and get confused between the two. The confusion could possibly affect her business and income.

I have not had the pleasure of meeting Carolyn. She works for Keller Williams Realty, a member of the Northern Virginia Association of REALTORS and consistently ranks among the top residential Realtors in Northern Virginia. Her website is fantastic. I love the slide show of Northern Virginia. I really do not know Carolyn so I ran over to the 'About' page to find out some more information about her. WOW! Look at her production:
- In 2009, Carolyn sold 177 homes and over 37 million dollars in residential real estate
- In 2008, she sold 211 homes and over 49 million dollars in residential real estate.
- In 2007, Carolyn sold 64 homes and over 25 million dollars in residential real estate.
That commands instant respect. She obviously knows what she is doing as a real estate agent. Despite what many people may think consistent success like that is not luck. If I lived in her area and needed the services of a Realtor she would definitely get my call.

Who is Ashley Alexandra Dupre and the other Carolyn Capalbo?
You may recognize the photo above. It was plastered all over the internet, nightly news and newspapers back in early 2009. She is the escort that was linked to then Governor Eliot Spitzer. She is the daughter of Carolyn Capalbo (not the Northern Virginia Realtor described above). Her real name is Ashley Youmans but she also goes by Ashley DiPietro, Kristen and Amber Arpaio.
Back in February 2008 Ashley met Eliot Spitzer at a Washington DC hotel. The meeting was arranged via telephone between Spitzer and Emperor's Club VIP escorts. Unfortunately, that telephone conversation was recorded by federal authorities because the Governors bank contacted the authorities for suspicious transactions between Spitzer and the escort company. Ultimately, the Governor was named by the New York Times as a client and resigned.
As you can see Carolyn Capalbo the Realtor would not want her name associated with any of this. She was in fact asked by several people if she had a daughter named Ashley. You know how rumors and misinfomation can run wild. This is why it is so important for Realtors to protect their online reputation.
